Ahsoka has always been my favorite character in the Star Wars series since her debut in clone wars back in 2008. Though we see her in action primarily in Clone Wars and The Mandalorian I’ve still always wanted more content of her throughout different stages of her life. We thankfully get exactly that as half of the Tales of the Jedi series is based on Ahsoka. Here’s a brief synopsis on each episode she appears in.

Life and Death

Baby Ahsoka ready to embark on a hunting trip

One day on a hunting trip with her mother baby Ahsoka is kidnapped by a Tiger-like creature. Just when the tiger is about to chow down, Ahsoka uses the force to calm down the beast. Afterwards the two head back to the village where the elder determines Ahsoka is a Jedi. It was fascinating to see baby Ahsoka use the force in a life-threatening situation.

Practice Makes Perfect

Ahsoka developing her dual light saber fighting style

Ahsoka is going through a Jedi examination in front of the council. Anakin unimpressed decides to take matters into his own hands. He asks Rex and his team to test Ahsoka’s reflexes using stun guns. Ahsoka’s first attempt at the test ends with failure as she is knocked down in seconds.  By the end, Ahsoka is able to handle the clone crew with ease through the use of dual lightsabers.  A great origin story to Ahsoka’s signature fighting style.

Ahsoka prepares to fight an Inquisitor

After the clone wars and Padme’s funeral Ahsoka resides on moon Raada to work alongside a local family.  When her identity as a jedi is revealed an inquisitor gets word and arrives on Moon Raada to kill her . Ahsoka faces off against the inquisitor and defeats him with ease using his own light saber for the final blow. A great episode that shows even though Ahsoka has left the Jedi Council she’s not done fighting the Empire.

Worth a watch?

I would definitely recommend all the Ahsoka shorts in Tales of the Jedi  to any Star Wars fanatic.  Watching the entire series in 1 night would take you less than 90 minutes.  Any ways guys that wraps it up for today. Once again thank you so much for reading and please don’t forget to like and comment.
